I need your advice ladies

Recommended Posts

So I plan to have steel pan/drum playing before the ceremony begins, for the processional and for the cocktail hour.  My cousin is actually a part of a steel pan orchestra that plays in Brooklyn, do you think I should ask her to play at my wedding? I will pay her of course, that is not the problem... It's just that I didn't intend to invite her.  But since she is my cousin, she will be more than a vendor and thus, will have to be invited to the wedding as well.  Once I invite her, a lot of other family members who will not and who are not invited are going to begin to compare the fact that she was and they weren't.

What do you ladies think? Do you think I should ask her and give her the money since she is family? Or should I just go out and find someone else?
