Hi,

Our wedding date is booked for April 11, 2011, I've been in contact with the wedding coordinator at the resort but I have no idea where to start with planning. I've never been to the resort or the dominican any suggestions?

Hi Melissa! Welcome to the forum - and congrats on the engagement!!!!!  You're getting married 2 days after me! :)  I don't know anything about your resort or the dominican, but it sounds like you're on the right track with contacting the wedding coordinator.  First thing i did was reserve my date at my resort and then worked with me TA to get a great group quote before booking and confirming my wedding date.  Happy planning!!! You'll find so many tips and ideas here.
