Hi! My name is Carol, and I saw a reference to this forum on the TripAdvisor forum, so I thought I'd check it out. No specifics for the wedding yet, would prefer it to be in the first half of 2007, was thinking maybe Cancun but open to other options!

Welcome Carol, there is a ton of information around here. A lot of it sorounding Cabo but all the tips and advice can be taken to any destination wedding I'm sure.

welcome carole!! there is alot of information on cancun/riviera maya in that forum. i have posted pics and resort information.

 

do you know how may guests you will have? children or no?

 

some of the best resorts in that area are adult only..

but there are some kid friendly ones as well

It seems like everyone here is getting married in Cabo! We stayed at Moon Palace last spring, and that definitely on the list. There will be kids at the wedding, although I'm not sure of the total number of guests, probably 20-30.

What you'll find is some of the most active brides are from Cabo but there are others out there. Welcome aboard and let us know how we can help.

we do have alot of cabo brides on...we also have alot of cancun, riviera mya brides but they are not as chatty as the cabo brides...except for jacki...looks like she is going to get married on the caribbean side as well.

Ok Carol, I think it should be officially up to the two of us to start makeing some noise over in the Cancun Riviera Maya forums. I'm almost sure we will be heading to the Riviera Maya. If you go over to the Cancun/Riviera Maya threads Tammy (host) has a great list of different resorts. Sometimes the list will not appear immidietly you need to scroll down and hit the button that says show threads posted in the last year. I think it is automatically set up to show threads in only the past day or week or something. The resorts in that area look amazing and whats even more amazing are the prices.

Yes, lots of us are Cabo brides, but soo much info carries over to wherever you go. You and Jackie can make a dent in the Mex. Riviera / Cancun forum
