My first attempt at DIY Boarding Pass Invites

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

First I want to thank everyone on here.  I have gotten so many ideas and tips, I don't know where I would be without this site:)

This is my first attempt at boarding pass invites, so please let me know what you think.  I went a little crazy with dingbats and washouts, but I like how they turned out-I just want to make sure they don't look too homemade-lol.

I love them!  I think you did a really good job!  It's funny I just finished mine last week (and haven't had the chance to post them yet), but I was trying to make sure they didn't look TOO professionally done, but not too homemade either!  I really like how yours came out though!  Very nice work!

Thanks so much!! I got a template from here and used powerpoint to make them.  I found all the fonts and dingbats online and just worked with the colors until I got them to match. Here are the dingbats I used: Tropicana BV, vehicular and wmtrees1.  I had to save some of the dingbats as a picture to create the washout effect.  The fonts I used were Batik Regular, Murray Hill, Segoe Script, and Honey Script.  It took a lot of time, but hopefully it will be worth it. I attached a template for anyone who is interested:)
