Starfish Themed Wedding

I just read through this ENTIRE thread, and all I have to say is...Dangerous!! And I LOVE every single idea...I think I'm heading to bed to convince FI that we want to add a starfish theme

I need your advice:

 

I'm doing the white starfish to use as place cards. But I just found "aqua blue" starfish too. They look super cute!! now my colors are turquoise and chocolate...so I dont know if I should use the aqua blue starfish or the white ones for the place cards?

 

 

Please help!!!

What if the aqua blue starfish dont appear as they look when you receive them? Why not do the white ones and tie the place cards with aqua-blue ribbon? Just a thought. I had found light blue starfish but after reading more it turns out they may appear darker than what is shown so I decided to just do the white ones to be safe.

What size starfish did you ordered? and where did you ordered them from?

 

I ordered 5 to 6 " from shellshopping for about $.35 cents each, and I need to order some more...so I'm not sure if I can find them cheaper somewhere else?

wow...all these ideas are great...i am also doing a starfish theme but don't want to do it overboard...but i can't help myself....i did my own invitations with Michael's and Ebay's help...

These are great ideas! I'm incorporating starfish into my Bahamas wedding! I found lovely glass starfish that I think I'm going to use as favors!

Great thread - I too have latched on to the star fish theme. Here are some images for inspiration.

 

I have to photograph my STD's. A friend designed them and did a fabulous job. My favorite part is the star fish
