In search of a Bridesmaid dress

I've been searching for bridesmaid dresses. This is harder than I imaged, especially with women with various shapes.

 

The other challenge is finding my colors...as popular as the peacock colors are I am finding more purple - instead of blue. pink instead of red. and aqua instead of turquoise.

 

To add to the challenge since we are paying for the wedding party attire and I am a budget bride I am trying to find something elegant, yet cool and appealing to different shapes.
