How do clip in hair exstensions work?

I believe you clip these in underneath a layer of your normal hair, so you don't even see the clip. Of course, I've never used them so I could be completely wrong!

I use the extensions with the glue, and keep them in for a few days. My hair is fine and the clip-ins don't stay in for me. But I have a girlfriend who uses them all the time and they work great for her. I wish I could use them. Hopefully they'll come out with some that clip tighter so I can use them. Much easier than the glue -- and less permanent!

They do just clip in ... you puch the small comb through your hair near the scalp, then pop it closed.

Make sure you get real human hair though. the synthetic is HORRIBLE!

How to use clip in human hair extensions.

Thanks ladies! I really want exstensions for the wedding. I am going to have my hair black and fuschia, but it wont be long enough for the way I want to do it so exstensions seemed to make the most sense.

Do you know if most stylists will work with them? Can they use a curling iron on them too??

YES you clip them under the hair and YES you can use a curling iron on them IF you get the human hair ones (which cost over double), IF you get the human hair ones, you can do pretty much anything you would to normal hair as in curl, perm, colour or highlight..

If you plan on doing a colour like fuscia, why not buy them already that colour and then clip them in, it would save you possibly damaging your own?

Good Luck~

If I bought them that colour though would a stylist be able to match it? Because I want the colour to go from root to tip not just underneath.
