Skin Prep

The most frustrating thing in the world is that I am in my 30th year on Earth and I still have blemishes. I am too old for this right?

Well regardless of that, I wanted to prepare my skin for my big day. I went to the dermatologist 6 months from our wedding date. My skin didn't need that much help but I wanted smooth, healthy, blemish free skin. My dermatologist understood and put me on two kinds of medication. After two months, my skin is smooth and clear. I do have to be careful being in the sun because the Differin gel will make it more sensitive to sunlight. In my previous post I mentioned going to the tanning bed. That plan is still on but I will be extra careful and tell the people at the tanning place.

Now, with three months left to go, I am in my skin maintenance phase. This is one less bit of stress to worry about and it was worth it. I did not pay a lot of money, only my co-pay to the doctor and prescription costs. My dermatologist also gave me cards to use at the pharmacy so that they would cost half the price. So, remember to ask you doctor about the price cards if you seek the advice of a dermatologist.
