The Dress

After two months of searching, I found my dress.

I was so excited about it and absolutely in love. However, when it arrived I tried it on and immediately started to regret my decision.

 

I think it was a combination of it not being altered to me and I gained about 7 pounds since trying on the sample. Also my mom assured me it would be fine once I got it pressed and altered.

 

I hope she is right. That was in September and I am hoping that when I go for my first fitting after New Years, I love it again. I have looked at the online picture and I do love it...but will I love it on me.

 

BTW- I have lost 5 pounds which I think will do the trick. I am not the type to be obsessed with my weight but for my wedding, I do want everything re my appearance to be perfect.

 

I think it will be. My wedding is in 5 months and 4 weeks from today in beautiful Positano, Italy! I cannot wait!
