Question about wedding picture prints.

Recommended Posts

Hello, this question goes out to all the brides and grooms. Juan loads all this pictures to Pictage, has anyone actually ordered their reprints from that site? If so how much better is the quality versus what you can get and you local store? (IE CVS, Walgreens, etc)

Tammy, my sister's photographer used Pictage too, and she ordered all of her prints from there. They turned out really nice, but they have awesome sales all the time, and they email you.. She got all of her pictures for Buy 1 print, get 1 free.

Btw, Tammy I love your new sig picture!!

Tammy I am in the smae position. While I intend to order a couple through pictage, I am holding out for the cd of images and taking to a lab or ordering online. I am not quite comfortable taking to Walgreens however. There are even local labs that will make reprints for less than a buck or so. The pricing we see is doue to markup by the photographers.

i was wondering this myself. like do i tell people that want the pictures (family) to order from Leigh's site so that 1) the quality is better and 2) Leigh gets her dues, or do I just send them to my Shutterfly account where I've uploaded them? How does the quality compare?

A photographer in L.A. recommended myphotopipe. They are SUPER cheap. He said photographers he knows get prints from there and mark them up like crazy for clients who turn to them for prints.

I'm doing my prints/photobook with them. I'm willing to bet the quality is better than snapfish/shutterfly/etc.

Anyone here use them or know anything about them? If not it looks like I'll be the guinea pig :o)
