So many decisions...

Planning a "regular" wedding is hard. Even harder when you're not at that location.

It's like a messed up DW. No wedding coordinator and one location with everything in the one package. No, that would be way too easy.

After scouring the net and contacts and chatrooms, I think I might have found a photographer http://www.waynethornhillphoto.com/, and we're narrowing down the list of venues and caterers.

Even though we plan to have our wedding a year from now, some places are already booked! And I thought they wouldn't be because we're doing it on a Friday!

Nuts!

It's really hard not being able to see the place but having to decide where to book. My family is too busy to go and have a look, so I'm relying on other's opinions and pics to determine if the places are right for us.

So far I've got it narrowed down to:

The Fluvarium http://www.fluvarium.ca/rental.php

The Bungalow at Bowring Park http://www.redoaknf.com/gallery.html

The Bella Vista http://bellavista.ca/meetings.htm

If we could do it, I'd really like to get married at this historic home in St. John's http://www.winterholme.ca, but there's not enough room for a sit-down reception.

Once we hear back from these venues and see the catering options, I think we'll decide and put down our deposits.
