Cake Inspirations **UPDATED 5/31**

Well, I went to taste cake today! They actually had prepared lemon instead of keylime filling, so they had to pilfer a keylime sample that was made for someone else's tasting tomorrow. I actually didn't like the keylime that much. The lemon was much lighter. I decided to go with yellow cake and lemon filling. The whole experience was very pleasant, actually. The girl at the bakery was wonderful and very accommodating. A few things I tasted, I wasn't sure about, so she tasted them with me haha. I ended up ordering the cake I intended to be the inspiration for my DW as the cake for my civil ceremony! The one with the shells was pretty and all but it had some restrictions with colors and whatnot that I wasnt happy with really. So, I'll still leave both photos in case anyone wants to steal the one I didn't use. I prepaid the cake too so I have one less thing to worry about that day - I can just swing by there on the way home from my hair appointment and be done, no payment necessary!
