Here comes the money

Chris and I have been struggling to come up with the last thousand for our wedding. We don't do credit cards (part of our situation right now) and we really didn't want to ask his folks for the money.

He is self employed so if he doesn't sell than there just isn't the money. Yesterday he had a killer day and made that 1,000 bucks! I cried when I saw all the checks and knew we wouldn't have to worry anymore, it's all there.

He normally makes about 50-150 a day but yesterday he sold more than he ever has so it really is a miracle. Ahhh breath a sigh of relief!

I am such a dork because when I saw there was a little left over I asked if we could go to costco--I wanted some dried mango..mmm.

Yay! What a day. Congrats. : ) It's such a relief when things like that happen.

Oh how nice. We didn't want to put anything on CC either. It was so stressful saving for the year, but once we got to about 5 months out, we realized we already had the money we needed saved. It was truly the best feeling.

Now Chris feels like superman so he is going to try and make tons more $$ next week. He was afraid he was going to have to work the day before the wedding. That would have not worked well.
