Pure chaos around here!

I knew it wouldnt be fun to have our kitchen remodeled, but I didn't factor in trying to work from home at the same time.

 

Not only do we have no kitchen, or any appliances (except for a fridge, thank goodness), but our "kitchen" has moved to the basement, which is right below the real kitchen that's under construction. What that means is that all sorts of "stuff" is falling from the ceiling into our bowls and food. Good thing we put most of our food in plastic bins to keep the mice away!

 

And having a conference call while there is jackhammering (or whatever it is) right upstairs is quite a challange. At least my clients are very understanding!

 

I keep telling myself how great it's going to look when it's done, and this will all be worth it - right? <sigh>

Ann I thought you have before pics, from when you just moved in? How long are they telling you it will take for the remodel?

i probably do have some from when we were moving in - but no "detail" or really good ones. i will have to dig them up.

 

they're saying like 1 month. paul and i are saying more like 2+ months. i bet we're closer!
