OK, first I want to say how amazing I think this forum is. I am new to it, but I love all the details that everyone shares.

 

My engagement was beautiful. It was during the fireworks in Vancouver every year for the festival of lights....we were downtown, and I was really cold, so he told me to take his hoodie and put it on. During the fireworks I put my hand in my pocket and discovered there was a box there. By the time I got the box out of the pocket, I looked at him and he was down on one knee. *grin* During the fireworks. It was amazing. I am so in love with him.
