How soon should we send out the invitations???

My fiance and I have been arguing over when to send out the invitations. We will have the save the dates out in the next two weeks and our wedding is May 30, 2011. I think we should wait till around November maybe October at the earliest, he thinks it should be September at the latest. I tried to tell him that all the information about the wedding will be on our website which is listed on the save the dates. Most everyone will know by then most likely if they will be going or not. What are your suggestions?

I'm getting married June 4,2011.. I'm sending my save the dates by the middle of August and my invites in November. I'm including the hotel info in my save the dates so people can book early if they want to. Hope this helps!
