Spanish Fans instead of Flowers?

Hola! Has anyone thougth of using Spanish Fans for your bridesmaids or yourself instead of flowers?

 

Is that cute/unique or just cheap and disconnected?

I think the fan idea is great, but personally I would only cosider it for the bridemaids. I would still want to have my bouquet (more for pictures than anything else). I do believe that another bride on this forum had her girls carry parasols instead of flowers, so the idea isn't too far out there. Good luck deciding.

I thought of the same idea too!  I think it'd be really cute... my wedding's gonna be in Panama so I'm going for the Spanish flare style!

did anyone end up doing this? I am leaning toward this...especially because I want the Spanish flair at my wedding

I really wanted to do this too at first. But, the fans that I liked are just about the same amount as if I were to buy each of them bouquets (from the resort)

  If any of you ladies can find it for cheaper, please keep us posted! I still really do like this idea, just for some reason thought it would be more economical.
