Congratulations! Be sure to check out both the Domincan Republic thread and the Jamaica thread to help you make your decision. I'm very familiar with both locations and one of the major differences you'll note between the two destinations is the price-point! If you decide to go with certain chains that are larger in J.A. you might end up paying for 4 days stay what you could pay for 7 days at a Dreams hotel in D.R.
