ATTN ROYAL IN CANCUN BRIDES: DJ or Sound system provided by hotel??

Hi ladies! I am planning my wedding at The Royal In Cancun for June 2011 and I have a question about the music. Did anyone use the sound system provided by the hotel which you could use your own ipod? I just wanted to know if this worked out for any of you and if so, how loud was the "sound system"?

Did anyone use a DJ service?

 

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm totally on the fence about this one. The resort i'm choosing has a DJ included in one of packages but only for 2 hours and the sound system you can rent for $150...so I think they would be perfect. We would only need the DJ for the beginning to do the introductions and announcements and after all of that is done we will only need to play music. and we can plug in our ipod to our playlist.

Hi! I am a royal cancun bride for April 2011 and I've been talking to a girl on here who had her wedding in May of this past year- she said they DJ they provide for the money is AMAZING. I am having over 100 people so I am def using them.
