You guys are too smart for me..hahaha I've never heard of glare-resistant glass but I'll be googling it shortly. I think I'll go with matte, but I always do glossy so I'm confused. I'm ordering them online from a site recommended to me by a photographer dude I know.

I love the matte prints since they look professional and do not end up with finger prints on them - I always order them from Costco and get them with a white border and I get a lot a compliments from them. The price is great and the final product looks terrific!

From a photographer's point of veiw I would say matte.

 

Glossy prints will show the color, detail, and sharpness way better. Use gloss when you print photos of details, a car or something that you want to see the detail and color in.

 

Matte will make people's skin tones look much better, and give an overall artsy look to the image.

They will be more flattering because they will not be as sharp and show less detail.

 

99% of prints that leave my studio are matte. as a matter of fact I always print matte unless the client asks for it.
