Get married 6/3 in maui!!

We get married in maui on 6/3. This is the best decision we ever made!! That's a lovely island and everything is exactly what I want and amazing!!

My wedding planner is dolphin dream wedding-Vickie. She is a nice lady to work with. In the beginning she do help us to look up some location we find on line (not from her recommendation) when we consider use the rental condo as our ceremony location and give us some good suggestion and evaluation. This is extra work I believe and that is why we decide to work with her on the wedding. Once we pay the deposit, both side did not have too much going on in april and when the date close (eraly may), she start picking up details and discuss with us. She is nice, but sometimes not follow up as tight as I expected. And with the moving and her wedding schedule on hands, sometimes it will take 2-3 days to get confirmation or feedback, but she will feedback you for sure, or let you know she did not have answer and expect when to have answer. Generally speaking, if you are not a nervous bride and must to get answer tomorrow, then you will like to work with her. Although I have a package with her, I do have specific request on details. Like the flower, color, cake...etc stuff. Sometimes seems like she did not get it or it take a little bit longer to get answer (I am a easy-getting nervous person), but my hubby (he communicate with her all the time) told me, I should not expect all the details to meet my standard since it's destination and package. However, it turns out everything is exactly what I wanted!! I should thank my hubby, having him follow up with vickie on all the details.

We have some misunderstanding when things comes to videographer, but after both of us clarify and get straight, she did some make up for us and with very nice attitude to keep working with us. I will recommend for that. On the wedding date she is there and take care the process, i am happy with all the things she arranged and whole ceremony is smooth and really nice. She do a good job overall to me.

One thing I will complain is the makeup, i request for the nature style/looking make up but the stylist did not bring anything to make my "double eyelid" and "longer eye lashes (I did not specific indicate that, but I assume every stylist should have that ready, bride could skip that part, but she should have it ready if customer ask). This is the part I really get mad and no way to fixed it since they wedding will start in 30 min. So make sure you point out anything you need to vickie when she book your stylist.

We did not rent a location for ceremony, we rent the kapalua comdo unit and have small ceremony in front of the unit. It's great spot with lawn and beautiful ocean background. I love this decision cause we use same $$ but have geart comdo unit for 5 nights and have the great one hour ceremony location!!

We have reception at merriman's. That is THE BEST location I could ever find. We only have 14 guests so we just need a quiet place for lunch. Merriman's offer great deal for us. We have lunch reception with reasonable budget, we kind like buy out that place for 2 hours. Highly recommend any bride want to find a lunch reception location. Well money spend there.

We have great memory in maui and we are lucky everything went smoothly. We even get our marriage certification today!! Hope every bride have great planner there and enjoy every minutes!!
