Can i just duct tape my thighs skinnier?

That is hilarious!!

I hate wearing dresses because my thighs rub and get irritated...but with 430 days to go I got time to make some changes haha.

I got a bra from Victorias Secret that really seems perfect. My dress is a low v in front and back and I needed a little extra padding and a push up. Check it out. I've only worn it at my fittings, but it was great!

They also have it in a regular bar with a back.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet.  My dress has a corset, but I really feel like I need some more support.  I tried the dress with a strapless bra, but it doesn't sit right. I'm busty, so I really feel I can't go without a bra.  I think I will get something built into the dress.

Hi Mellyrox~

I too am busty (32DD), not sure your size, but I found corsets at both Nordstrom's and Sacks Fifth Ave.  We have a store here in S.Florida called Intimacy - bought a great strapless bra there :)

Good luck!

Never tried a stick on bra...would worry about getting sweaty and my luck, it would slide down the bodice of the dress and end up lying in aisle!  smile43.gif  I found some wonderful sew in bra cups that are called bump-a-cups...they are the usual cups but they have a push up section towards the bottom of the cup like the VS miracle bras.  Haven't had them sewn into my dress yet, but just having them sitting inside the top when I tried on the dress seemed to help quite a bit already...so once they're sewn in and cinched up via the corset back on my dress...for the first time in my life I think I may be rockin' some cleavage!!!  bunny_4.gif

thankfully the corset top of my dress (my dress is 2 pieces) hold the girls in so no bra is required! :)  I'm also not going to be wearing the panel on the back either so my back will be open and cool.  As for the bottoms, just a cute pair of boy shorts wink.gif

I have cups sewn into my dress, as well so no bra for me (not a heck of a lot that needs support anyway, lol). As for the rest, I figure it'll be hot so the dress will be warm enough, so that means probably just a thong.

If anyone has worried about chaffing or their thighs rubbing together (especially in the heat), try Body Glide. You can get different types but best is probably their powder-based lubricant. It's made for athletes and runners to prevent chaffing and friction. I have heard of a couple other brides using it and they said it was a God send! In Canada, you can but it at any Running Room. For the ladies from other places, check ebay perhaps?

I was thinking the same thing! (body glide)

I still haven't fiigure out what I'm doing yet for undergarments either. i think nothing on top, but maybe cups sewn in. Then the bottom, just nice underwear. I don't reall "need" any support up there and have a corset and tie up back, so I bet that will be sufficient!
