What are/did you put on outside of your OOT bag?

I also created my bags using VistaPrint. I used one of their included templates and just made it into a "souvenir" type bag for Riviera Maya in general. I agree that if you make it plain (ie, without names/etc.), guests are more likely to get use out of them after the trip is over.

 

I signed up for their email list and received an email with a list of things for free...I made 20 separate orders (time consuming, yes...but worth it for me) of 1 tote bag, t-shirt, post-its and pen each and received them all for free -- I just paid $4.40 shipping per order.

Also, on the preview of my tote, it shows a small www.vistaprint.com on the lower portion. Did anyone else see this or did it show up on your bags?

Yes, you can pay something like $1 - 1.50 to NOT have that on there...if you can see in my picture above, I left it on. It is pretty small, but might be worth it to take it off? It's all in preference I think.

I got clear velum oot bags and printed on them is our name, place and date. I'm going to get "beachy" tissue paper to put inside them and then all the goodies.

That www.vistaprint.com DOES show up on your bags, I believe, -- but you can pay like $1.99 to have it removed or something like that if I remember correctly.

I don't plan on putting any writing on our OOT bags. I am sewing the bags myself and hence customizing it with our wedding colors. Once I get my act together and start making them I will post a photo.
