I have close friends that are professional photographers and will be taking the photos for our wedding but I am still in need of a videographer.  Any recommendations?

Quality - excellent...great equipment, HD high quality image for video. Very pleased. Florian from Video Punta Cana was always prompt at answering my emails (within a day at the latest). It was great to work with a vendor this responsive when you are having a destination wedding and are located in different countries. We met with him 5 days after our wedding and he already had the wedding video ready, amazingly quick turnaround! The value of this services is great compared to others in the area. We booked his services for 6 hours, however the day of the wedding we were impressed by his flexibility. We did the bride and groom ��first look�� earlier in the day and he arrived to our venue to make sure get this on video. He then left and came back again before the ceremony started. At the of the day he was there for longer than 6 hours and captured all the moments of our special day. This meant a lot to us! We recommend Florian from Video Punta Cana 100%...we were impressed by his professionalism, great attitude and talent!

I would like to second the recommendation of Rob and Mel from Shoebox Photography! We are using them for our wedding in May 2015, and they have already been great to work with. Plus, look at their work. It's just beautiful! Within just a week after confirming that we wanted to work with them for our wedding, Mel set up a skype date with us which was great for discussing details and getting to know one another. Mel gave us several recommendations for how to set up our wedding day timeline and was very knowledgeable about the various wedding venues and resorts in Punta Cana. They are always quick to respond with any questions we may have regarding photography or even other wedding-related things. I was very picky on selecting a photographer because I wanted to have awesome photos, so we could always relive one of the most important days of our life! Their photographs are vibrant and full of light. Also, the subjects don't look unnatural or awkwardly posed, they capture the true emotion and special moments in your wedding day. Lastly, they are reasonably priced. 

 

In summary, Rob and Mel with Shoebox Photography are great to work with, take stunning photographs, and are reasonably priced. Seriously, what more could you ask for?!

 

If you can't tell from the review above, I would highly recommend Shoebox Photography if you are having your wedding in the D.R.

When we decided to have a destination wedding, we were considering bringing someone from home with us to photograph our wedding as we didn't think we'd be able to find someone in Punta Cana that did amazing photos. We were wrong! I was searching online one night and saw a recommendation for Rob & Mel at Shoebox Photography so I went to their blog and was amazed at how beautiful their work was. I contacted them right away and we eventually had a skype meeting. They made us feel super comfortable and were a lot of fun. When the skype meeting ended, my fiance and I looked at each other and both said we found our photographers to capture our day!

 

Not only is their work beautiful but Mel and Rob have always been quick to answer any questions we have and have helped me when I was having my panic moments!
