Excellent choice! I just returned from my wedding and had Arnuad and Diego(videographer) they were amazing!! I've been told that they are the best wedding pictures anyone has ever seen. Great value, total professional and super nice guys! They were our buddies by the end of the trip

Hello fellow DR Brides. 

I am debating if I will hire a photographer in the DR or take one with me to the DR.

All the photos of the local vendors look wonderful but if someone could give me more details of:

 

1. Average cost of wedding photo sessions.  I am interested in engagement dinner photos, wedding day photos and TTD photos.

2. Average cost of photos to puchase

3. Are the negatives yours to keep, or belong to the photographer and if you want extra prints you must purchase from them?

 

My eyes are going crossed reading so many different good reviews and unsure which to choose!'

I tried to get another photographer based on the recommendations here on BDW but everyone was booked. Nonetheless, I would NOT use Photoshop Caribe. Seems to be a bit of scaming and they use the language barrier as mix up in communication. Although I did get some decent photos, that's to my guest I got more quaulity photos. The quality with Photoshop Caribe was no different that a guest with a really nice camera. The only plus is that they did an excellent job with photoshoping the images.

I just got married August 18, 2010 at the Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium.  Michael Weiler was our photographer and his brother Pascal is the videographer.  All I can say is AMAZING!  They are great to deal with and what you get for your money is phenomenal!  We got married on Wednesday and did a Trash The Dress session on Thursday, we had our pics and video by 6:00pm on Friday! The quality is superior!   Michaels website is weddingpuntacana.com.  We received a hard bound 30 page album, 75 printed photos, 500 edited photos on a CD as well as the trash the dress sesion and a video of that session all for the amazing price of 1200.00!!!!   You can also check out his viedos on You Tube, I think it's Caribbean Emotions.  Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them.  Trust me you won't be disappointed, his pictures are breathtaking!
