Hello Lovely Brides!

 

I'm getting married on October 6, 2012 at the Riu Ocho Rios in Jamaica! I was actually there on vacation in November and really loved it.

 

There seems to be so much to do; I swear a DW was suppose to be easier..lol. But we're now looking to find a photographer as this is important to us and I'm sure it is to you all. I plan to bring real touch bouquets down with me and some decor as well.

I was at a DW at the Majestic Elegance and it was AMAZING!  the bridal couple also raved about it.

Barcelo Bavarro All- Suites was also fun- another DW...

We decided to keep it simple and go with the mint breeze package, we are only having around 20 guests so we thought that would be perfect. What about you? Have you been able to book your vacation package yet? my travel agent said that w can't until August but we can put like $150 down per person and get a booking number to give the resort and then we select our package in August.

Well we have decided to go with the tangerine sunset package. We are anticipating to have anywhere between 80-120 people. We were able to book our vacation package and give a booking number to the resort. We have had about 15 people put in a deposit already. Do you have a wedding coordinator from the resort yet?

I am from Nelson it's in the Kootenay mountains. We choose Barcelo because we know people that have been there and said nothing but positive things about it. My FI and I have never traveled before so we are super excited. Planning so far has been super stressful since some of our guests don't like that we choose Mexico as our destination. If you haven't already I recommend checking out Barcelos website, I love that the resort has different price ranges for budgets and every picture that I have seen is breathtaking. Hey Angela My FI is from thevkootenay mountain area - he grew up in the valley out in winlaw. . I think that we have finally decided on now sapphire because I love the deck area for our reception Plus the prices right noe are amazing !! My TA is awesome so I m excited!!! Her quote came in at $1400 a person after tax!!!!

Newbie from Edmonton!   We are planning a February 2013 wedding.  Haven't arrowed down a date yet, as the quotes are still rolling in. But I hope we get it set soon, I can't wait to start planning, I am spewing with ideas from all the fab ladies on here!!
