just an FYI ladies, we just booked at the RIU in Aruba, and it was not even near the list we were considering. I got quotes from 4 different TA, and ended up going with itravel..they actually have wedding specialists! We weren't planning on going AI, because it was sooo much more, but RIU..here we come!

I'm from Ottawa as well and am getting married at the Gran Bahia Jamaica in January 2012.  We were able to get fabulous rate both out of Ottawa and Toronto for our guests! They're still raving about how affordable it was!  We're in the $1300s from Toronto and $1400 from Ottawa all taxes in, and those are during high season! There are great deals out there, you just need to keep working to find a great TA!
