Limes & peacock feathers centrepiece

Recommended Posts

I really like the limes and the peacock feathers, but I'm not sure I like them together.

I love how the limes pop, but I feel like the feathers don't have enough color, if that makes sense. I'm picturing white flowers in the middle of the limes, but I don't think that would go with your color scheme.

Maybe the ribbon idea in a shade of blue, so it will bring out the blue in the feathers?

I'm using blues and greens also with peacock feathers. For my bridal shower, we had glass vases with different blue and green glass stone like things ... but only a few, then we tied a green ribbon around the top of the vase and laid the peacock feathers out on the table! I'll look for a picture

I agree Ang...something just isn't right...maybe use less limes & water. I'm not sure how you would get the feathers to stay in place though - maybe you would have to crazy glue them to the bottom of the vase?? I'm so NOT a DIYer!!! lol

Good luck hun...and I'm sure whatever you come up with will look great!

I really like the limes but I'm not quite sure this arrangement works. I like Rachel's ideas of adding ribbon and I like the idea of the limes with flowers or the peacock feathers with blue and green stones on the vase. What if you had the limes and peacock feathers separate. Like maybe some tables will have limes and flowers and the others will have peacock feathers and coloured stones. Sorry, I am so terrible to being creative or diy so I guess I'm not a lot of help.

Anyways, if this helps, here are a couple cool peacock ideas I've seen. I really love where they put the peacock feather in the napkin.

You guys have taken this and just ran with it. Kudos! I, on the other hand, totally gave up!!! I just don't have the time or energy left to put into it, so hopefully some other bride might be able to use this as a jumping off point.

I did try to put the feather around the inside of the vase, but couldn't get it to stay.

For any brides wondering though, the resort I am going to (Dreams Los Cabos) said they'd only charge $15 per centrepiece for it. A lot better than the $70 I am paying now wink.gif

Thanks for your input!!!
