We are getting Married on the SAME DAY and SAME BOAT!!! :-)

I am getting married on March 18th 2011, while at the port in Key West!  My ceremony is from 12:30 to 1p and reception from 1p to 5p.

How far along are you with your planning??

How exciting!

Congrats by the way!!

Are you doing the ceremony on the ship while in port or on the island and how did you get a 4 hour reception-that is awesome:)

I'm doing the both the ceremony and reception on board. I wanted to have the ceremony on KW and have the reception on the boat, but I was told I couldn't do that. They said that if I have more than 50 people in order for me to have it on KW I would have to have my reception there too.  Is there a way around that??  And please send me any upgrade info you have.. I feel so clueless about what I can really do!

Oh about the four hours..I had to pay for the additional time and $55 additional per person.

It worked out much cheaper for us-we have more than 50 and the contract Carnival has with the Hyatt required us to have a reception at the Hyatt at a much greater cost. Good luck with your planning, I have lots of info and Carnival documents/upgrades, if you have any questions, let me know:)

i replied once but forgot to quote, my bad.  i was thinking about doing exactly what you are talking about and would love any information you could provide.

@ hzak1203

I love to learn about ugrades and information from you please. I am getting married in Key West at the Hyatt as well. And I booked my package outside of Carnival the same way you did, with a reception back on board.

I have a group of about 20 people so far on the carnival with us. We are doing our Cruise on The Valor in April.

I look forward to information you have, since our ceremony and reception are so simular.  Thanks lrae
