Arrival in JA Prior to wedding

Hey JA Brides,

 

How many days before your wedding do you plan to arrive in JA? My Fiance and I are in the process of booking our time off for our wedding and I would like to know how many days do you suggest us arriving in Jamaica before our wedding day. Our wedding is on a Saturday and we were thinking to arrive in JA on the Wed. Is 3 days enough time prior to our wedding, for any last minute planning?

If getting married in Jamaica, you have to be there 48 hours prior to your weddings, so if you are getting married on Saturday, then you have to arrive in Jamaica no later than a Wednesday.

We are arriving in Jamaica on Saturday and getting married on Wednesday.

When we booked our flights we were arriving on a Friday and getting married on a Tuesday. Flights have just been released and we don't depart now til Saturday. Our date is still march 1, which is a Tuesday, is this ok? Or will I have to change our date??

Our guests come down on Thursday, we get married on Saturday. I'm flying down 2-3 days earlier to assemble OOT bags there so I can have them waiting in the guests' rooms and do some flowers and get everything squared away. FI is flying down with the guests on Thursday.

I'm arriving Wednesday and getting married Friday.

We only have a limited amount of time so we arriving Friday for our Sunday wedding. I'm a little worried we will have a lot to do the day before but we're booked and we can't take any more time off work so we'll have to make it work!

We're arriving Wed and getting married on Monday, just worked out to be the cheapest day to fly.
