Hi everyone

My name is Natasha. I am planning a March or November 2011 wedding in either the Riviera Maya region of Mexico or Jamaica, and then a reception back home here in Minnesota. I am looking for tips and ideas from other brides that are doing something similar. I would love to hear from other brides planning weddings in these areas and also the experiences of brides that have already gotten married. Please send any information that you may have on either of these locations. Vendors I am also looking for a photographer and entertainment in both these locations. I look forward to sharing ideas and planning with all of you.

I am busy planning my wedding in the Mayan Riviera, Mexico. And when we return we are throwing two receptions, one in Toronto and one in Ottawa. Right now I am barely keeping up with the wedding planning. But this site has been a wealth of information!

When I got engaged we were originally set of Riveria Maya and fell in love with Dreams Tulum. After crunching numbers and doing research we moved over to Jamaica and found it a better option for us. Easier to get married there, cheaper (we would have never expected it), and something new for us as we've both been to Mexico more than a few times.

 

Either option is awesome, that's just how my "journey" took me
