Just when you think you've found it. Need advice/suggestions

So I still haven't gotten any answer from PPR any sign of life would have been nice. I will have to call them I guess. So we calculated the number of guests and initially we figured about 30 but when we added them up we came up with 75

 

We can't afford paying the 60-70$ per additional person. That being said, can anyone suggest a place (in punta cana, 4* and more) that can accommodate large groups.

My other choices besides the PPR were Excellence and Dreams PC. The Excellence is an adults only but beautiful. Good luck with your search!!

We already reserved the PPC before we realized just how bad they are with communication, how much they nickle and dime you, and most recently, that my FI's relatives have invited themselves (we had a count at 30 prior to this, too)...*sigh*

 

I only looked at 5 star resorts and the final 4 were Paradisus Punta Cana, Dreams Palm Beach, Majestic Elegance, and Excellence Punta Cana.

I would check out Ocean Blue and Sands. I just switched from Dreams Palm Beach because it was a bit expensive for our guests and for the dinner packages. Ocean Blue & Sands packages are dinner for up to 40 and an additional $35 per person. We are choosing the Sands Extravaganza that also has a cocktail hour for up to 40 people among other items and the cost is $1,950.

You should check out Moon Palace. With that many people coming, you would qualify for unlimited private functions. I am 99% sure that is where I will be getting married!!

Check out Dreams Palm Beach, they have great reviews on the forum and I think their prices for extra people over 20 are resonable (about $30) if you choose the gold dinner.
