Wannabe Caribbean Bride

Hi, My name is Steph and I'm getting married to Bo in June 2007. We want to have a destination wedding in the Caribbean but aren't sure where to go. There are so many options and it's so difficult to narrow down choices based on pictures from the internet. I'm looking for advice! Thanks.

Hi Steffie lynn,

there are so many choices to get married in the caribbean...the obvious choices being jamaica because it is easy and you get alot of bang for your buck. Jamaica is actually the one of the most popular honeymoon destinations up there with hawaii because it is such a good value...jennifer one of our mods got married in jamaica...let us know how we can help!

We looked into the Caribbean before settling on Mexico. You can probably name a resort and I can tell you the pros and cons of marrying there. Do you have top choices so far?

Welcome Steffie Lyn,

I'm not sure if it helps at all but I hear that Aruba is awesome. I know a handfull of people that have been to Aruba and wont go anywhere else now. My friend who got married last year also honeymooned in Aruba at the Bucutti resort (gorgeous) and said it was the best spot she has been to in the Carribean yet. Another good aspect of Aruba is that it is under the hurricane belt which I guess means they dont get hit by the hurricanes like some of the other islands. I think (am not sure) that Aruba might be a little on the expensive side though.
