I saw your post and I'm getting married at the Excellence at 5:30PM that Monday. I thought 5:30 was late, but I went on a website that tells you when sunset will be based on the latitude and longitude of Punta Cana:

And it looks like sunset on that day will be just before 7PM. So if you're planning on doing pictures after the ceremony, you may want to move up the ceremony a bit.

 

We will actually be honeymooning at the Majestic Elegance during your wedding.  How long are you staying at the resort?

6:30 is a highly sought after time to get married in Punta Cana because of the sunset.  I think your ceremony will be perfect at this time!  Congrats!!!

 Thanks for this post! Our wedding is confirmed for 6:00 PM and I am hoping to get some gorgeous pictures of the sun setting after our ceremony! ) Thanks michelle for the link!..
