Hello,

 

My name is Denise and thinking of getting married in Punta Cana. We haven’t booked anything yet but we’re planning to visit at least 3 resorts this year before picking our destination. So far, my top 3 are Majestic Elegance, Iberostar Bavaro, and Excellence. Any suggestions/advice on getting started?

Denise! There are SO many fabulous resorts to choose from. I would go through some of the individual resort threads and see what the girls are saying. Also, check out the reviews which is super helpful too. Have fun with all of your planning!

Congrats and welcome to the forum Denise! There should be a lot of info about those three resorts in the Dominican Republic section. Also, remember you can find info quickly by using the search function. The Excellence is supposed to be awesome since it's pretty new but it's adults only- not sure if that affects your decision. My son wants to get married in PV Mexico in December, there will only be 5 people there, the hotel wants $400.00 to "organize" $360.00 for the agent, $280.00 for the official certificate $250 for blood tests, and that is just the basics, any advise....
