New Dreams Los Cabos Photography Policy 6/2010

Recommended Posts

I know resort with ocean view of located in front of the ocean has to pay to Mexican goverment a fee for this, also his in site photographers has to pay, well, the resorts pay for them, this is why they have to charge fees to outside photographers and besides they realized that they may do some extra business, so they do! but I understand and just want to let all you know some reason from my point of view.

Thanks!!

Ivan :)

My husband and I were married April 24, 2010 at Dreams and had Cabo Adventure do our wedding photorgraphy and I have to say they did a FANTASTIC job!  We were extremely pleased!  We even purchased the slide show of the photos set to music and the photo book.  When we first viewed our photos the day after the wedding, we literally were teary-eyed we were so pleased with how Abraham (the photographer) captured the spirit of our wedding!  I cannot recommend them enough and won't hesistate to use them again when we come back to Dreams to renew our vows on our anniversary!  We love it there and are very happy with the photographers as well!  Please feel free to contact me, if  you would like to see some of my wedding pictures, I'd be happy to show you.

I agree with those that said that you cannot compare photos from an actual professional photographer, as compared to a house photographer. They are just two entirely different styles, and the quality/style/experience from an actual wedding photographer is beyond that of what you would get with an "adventure company photographer." FYI - Mariana is giving us credits to use towards other services for the wedding in lieu of the house photographer/videographer, and a few other services we won't be using from the Ultimate package, as we'll be flying in our own photo/video team from California.

A note to any brides out there thinking of flying in a photographer: California has a very, very talented pool of photography studios, and it is VERY cheap to fly them in and accomodate them for your wedding. We are from Calgary, Alberta, and are flying our photographer and videographer (a husband/wife team) from LA for three nights, staying at the Westin for $1000 (flights+accomodation). We then paid for our photo/video package on top of that.

I was thinking on some last post in this thread, have a good luck with a photographer that does not know the area and may not know how to make on this, also a bounch of good photographers live in Los Cabos and in Mexico and is less expensive that anything else, also flighting mexican local photographers (Mexican, American or any nationality living in Mexico with great talent) living in Mexico is so much less expensive than bring them anywhere else :)

Abrazos!

Ivan
