HELP!!! Was totally set on Azul Sensatori, but now am wondering about Dreams Riviera Cancun!!

Has anyone done site visits to both of these to have a comparison??

Any suggestions/help is much appreciated!!smile41.gif

I am a little concerned with the fact that EVERY single thing is an add-on and seems to be pretty expensive. Dreams seems to be a little more standardized with their prices.....It doesn't seem that people have to pull the "brides on BDWF only payed this much" line at DRC.

Though I spoke with my TA today and I really trust her as she has booked me at multiple other resorts and I have never been disappointed.... She really feels that AS is MUCH better than DRC. I have decided to let it go and move forward with Azul Sensatori!!

I figure the reason I did a DW was to not stress about the details, so I am just going for it!! Trying not to stress and second guess.....cheer2.gif

Hi!

I'm in the same boat too! I am also considering the Zoetry and one of the Iberostar resorts as well. So I would love to hear what those of you think who have been or could offer comparison. Do any of you know if the Dreams Riviera Cancun offers wedding ceremonies in a place other than the beach or their gazebo? I really love the AS sky weddings but the beach looks nicer at the DRC. It's so hard to tell from pictures!

Both Dreams RC & Azul Sensatori are family orientated - i.e. perfect for families with kids. If you're thinking about a couples-only wedding you might want to think about Secrets, El Dorado or the Royal in Playa del Carmen. Both Dreams & Azul are amazing resorts but personally I'm looking at an adults-only for less of a kids running around crazy feel...

Note on the Family Vs Singles thing. Azul Sensatori is both in one. They have a building that only have rooms for singles no family then the other side of the resort has family rooms. But everyone can travel everywhere. There is a webinar on the Karisma resorts next week that I just got an email for. If anyone is interested email me [email protected]

We are going through the same problem sad.gif But one thing I suggest to do is go on to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. and see the resorts from some of the guests point of view. Our TA is pushing us in the Azul Sensatori direction bc she has dealt with them more and has never had any issues. The sky wedding is pretty interesting! So is the lazy river outside of your room. But I have had friends of friends tell me that DRC is amazing~!

Hey do you mind me asking who is your TA? Only bc my TA is also pushing the AS and I was just curious. Thanks

Hi ladies, I got married at AS, but I don't think you can go wrong with either resort. I don't know what the pricing is like at DRC, so I suggest you write down what is most important to you and then compare those things between the two threads (ie available ceremony locations, private reception costs, what standard packages include, etc).

Good luck!

Oh and one more thing... once you decide, don't look back lol!! You'll drive yourself crazy.
