Ms. to Mrs. Name Change Websites

For those ladies that are already married, did you use any websites to guide you through the process? My friend sent me a website but it's $29.99 and I'm sure there is the same information on the web for free. Just wondering what everyone here did to get information on what needs to get done and in what order. Thanks in advance!

its not that difficult to do in WA state, so i didnt waste the $. here you just get your new SS card, then DL, then call all your utility, accounts, cards and banks etc.

 

SS and DL agencies wanted to see a marriage license once it came in, but everyone else went by my word over the phone.

 

i think its a money making racket! BUT if someone has done this and has had a great experience, please dont hesitate to post!
