Friday or Sunday

So, if a saturday isn't available at the resort you want, but friday and sunday are which is better?? I'm thinking friday, but would love to hear other thoughts..... Thanks!!!

I would say Friday because then you have the rest of the weekend open to celebrate. If it's Sunday you will have wedding on your mind the other days .

I would pick Friday.. Also, some resorts won't hold weddings on Holidays or Sundays.

Echoing the thought that some resorts won't hold weddings on a Sunday.

But I'd choose a Friday anyways. In your guests mind, it usually makes it easier. They can travel for a long weekend. For some reason the psychology of staying a long weekend into Monday/Tuesday doesn't sit as well with people.

I would also say Friday - I got to the resort on a Thursday for my Saturday wedding and couldn't really relax till after - plus, some of my guests left by Sunday.

We purposefully chose to have the wedding on a Friday so that our guests wouldn't feel the need to leave the day after the wedding. This way they will be at least able to stay through Sunday without worrying about missing more work.

I say Friday. That is when our wedding is and a lot of people are either staying from Wednesday to Monday or Thursday to Sunday. I think it is better to be able to spend some time at the location after the wedding to relax.

Ditto what Andrea said - I vote for Friday just because you have the rest of the weekend to relax and enjoy it

We're getting married on a Friday so my vote is for that day. We liked the idea of our guests making a long weekend out of it and they can return back to work on Monday.
