New kids on the block

Hey Everyone,

 

I, and my fiance, are new to the site. My name is Jerry, and my beautiful bride-to-be is Alex. She's too busy with nursing school to join a forum (and not too net savvy), so I'm stepping up to the plate to find any tips and tricks to help with our planning =). We both live in FLA and trying to plan our May 7th, 2011 wedding at RMB, while trying to deal with a long distance relationship. I proposed on Christmas day, 2009.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I've been reading this site for a couple weeks, and finally decided to register. As we get more into the planning, i see more and more questions coming to mind.

Thanks! I'm still iffy on the resort, but not fighting it, lol. I've read some good reviews about it, and I have ideas for our honeymoon elsewhere. We also got guest list SOMEWHAT situated (i'm holding us up), save-the-dates picked out, invitation picked, photographer, and my boo already has her DRESS! I always thought planning would be difficult, but it seems we're flowing right through it.

I just hope we don't overlook anything. I'm more worried about making sure the guest have a great time.

Welcome, Jerry! My fiance and I sound very similar - getting married in Jamaica, I've picked out my dress, and my fiance is still finalizing his portion of the guest list
