I am newly engaged and new to the forum. I am so confused about a destination, so confused that at times I want to give up and just get married at home But you ladies are inspiring to keep on pushing toward my destination wedding.

Second, DW aren't easy. I'm sure you will doubt yourself and question the idea many times along the planning process, mainly because people aren't always entirely supportive... unfortunately! However, I can say without a shadow of a doubt it will be the best experience. It's not just one day to celebrate with loved ones- it's a WEEK! Cruise around the forum, read up, digest it all. I bet you will continue down the road of having a DW and will never regret it! Good luck!

Hi SimpleBride! I'm very new to this forum as well but I just wanted to let you know that I felt the same way to a point wherein I thought to myself what was I thinking. I just got married last May 18 and the wedding was beautiful and our families had a fantastic time. Trust me everything will fall into place.

Welcome to the forums. We had so much fun on our DW but I definitely think you need to make sure it is the right type of wedding for you. You will find a ton of resources here to help you make your decision!

I think it's less confusing than an at-home wedding because I have less options to stress over. There aren't 1000 photographers to choose from, floral arrangements, music offerings, etc. I hate making decisions!!!
