My shoes arrived yesterday from Bellissima Bridal Shoes - they are at my mom's place since I am heading there for my second dress fitting next week and she told me they are super cute!!

Hi ladies...I'm also a lover of heels (esp since i'm only 5'1). I'm also getting married on the beach, but I plan to wear my heels! I was worried about sinking or tripping so I posed this question to the other brides in another thread and was informed that the aisle runner used at our resort is very sturdy and can def hold you up if you decide to wear heels. So anyone having a beach ceremony in any of the Palace resorts...you can rest easy if you are debating wearing heels

ooo love this thread. thanks for so many great ideas ladies. since i'm only about 1/2 inch shorter than fi, i'm definatly thinking cute little wedges or something flat so i dont have to lean down to kiss him after we say i do! lol

I got the idea for my shoes from a fellow BDW member...I only paid like $20 for them off Ebay but i love them! they fit perfectly with the overall feel of my wedding

I'm contemplating using either these:

I like the look of the second one better, but the braided strap pushes into your foot a little, so I think I might go for the first ones, since its just a single strap on the shoe and fits more comfortable, but then I just went to find the page and the double strap ones are on sale, so I really don't know! Help!!
