Riu Palace Wedding Review - May 2010

I never made it to the Sante Fe, but it is the resort with more action for sure! The only thing I heard was they are really good for breakfast and lunch, but the Palace was a little better for dinner. And I know the Sante Fe had a bigger swim up bar! hehe

As for your wedding, I assume you will be using the same wedding coorinator, so I am sure everything will be great:)

Congrats!! I am getting married there June 2011 - ceremony at the San Jose gazebo and undecided on where the reception will be. Your in-depth review helps me relax a bit about the details. Sounds like you had a beautiful wedding! Please post pics when you can

Thanks for the detailed review! We are getting married July 2nd, 2011, I booked our ceremony for 6pm and am now very happy I did that!

 

Can I ask about the party in the lobby bar? I was sad to hear 11pm was curfew for the reception as most weddings we all party until about 1am! How did the lobby bar work, was it planned or you all just went there? Did you have to pay more?

Wonderful review!!! 

I"m getting married at The Palace in November and I visited Feb 09, but I have to agree about the Mexican restaurant.  It was my fiance and I's least favorite place.
