I have wanted to buy a sewing machine for awhile, but i am overwhelmed with the range of prices and features. Can anyone recommend a good one for under $200 that would make learning fairly easy? I have so many DIY wedding ideas, just need the machine :)

Thanks!

Sears (Kenmore brand) makes good machines. They have a few models that are under $200. You can find inexpensive Singer machines at Target & Walmart, but Singer was sold a while back to another company and the quality is not as good anymore (although I have one from Walmart & haven't had any trouble with it). Kenmore is probably your best bet for your budget.
