My first try at using illustrator

I have been trying to teach myself how to use Photoshop and Illustrator. I found a really cool tutorial that taught me how to create my first logo in Illustrator. I want to add some florishes, so this is just my first go.

I really really like it I think that your names look spaced far apart though...why is that. But I really really like it...and it has my fav color...purple. Wish I was that creative.

thanks. i am playing around with everything. I have never used illustrator before so it took me almost four hours to do that. But it is just the beginning. I want to work on it a lot more. I will definitely try to fix the ltters. Maybe change the font. We shall see but it is definitely a work in progress

I think it turned out great for you first try. My only critic is the font as well. The & looks funny in that font. Make the font more simple and then I think it'll be perfect.

That looks great! I love the purple and green together! I do agree that the font is a little hard to read, but it's AWESOME for your first attempt!
