Welcome! Congratulations and good luck in your planning!

 

We went to Puerto Plata a couple of years ago and loved every minute of it. I highly recommend contacting Martin of Isaira Tours. He is so nice and the tours are small, personal, well priced and so worth it! He took us on a tour to Sosua and Cabarete that was just awesome. So educational, pretty, on our own time schedule and he even took us to his house to meet his family, who were just fantastic! While we were there we also went on an ATV tour that might have been one of the best excursions I've ever done--sugar cane fields, little villages and just plain fun. Oh and we went snorkeling to Paradise Island--some of the best snorkeling I've ever done. Lots of live coral and tons of fish, plus the "island" and water (more like a sandbar) is simply breathtakingly beautiful.

 

Basically--have fun! There's lots to see and do while you're there for your wedding. cheesy.gif
