However, she did switch her reception from Tucanes to the Health Bar as she liked it's location across from the beach better. We did get a geat breeze there that you don't get at Tucanes, and they actually leave 4 or 5 tables with the chairs at the back of the Health Bar. It did keep some people back there rather than dancing, but they seemed to be glad for a place to relax and they probably wouldn't have danced anyway. The Health Bar also has a pool beside it and we had the large flowers from the gazebo cut into 2 pieces and floated in the pool along with some lanterns (Raphaela's idea - the head WC at EDR).
Thank you so much for the reassurance. We are having a reception at the Health Bar as well, so I am now very excited.

I'm so glad that person posted that picture and review on Trip Advisor. It does look nice with all of the foliage.

Thanks again for taking the time to look at it!

Okay, I am obviously in the worrying mood today, but how did everyone do their ceremony music at EDR?

I asked this before and some people said ipod and some said cd.

If you did cd did you have all of the processional songs on one disk (or playlist) and the recessional song on another?

I was worried about my music, too, but it turned out beautifully. I put my music on a CD and had them in the order that I needed them to be played. I also labelled the CD w/ the song numbers that were to be played at each segment. I just put all of the songs on one CD and the EDR staff knew what to do.

I did my ceremony music on a cd & back up on my ipod. The cd I had the songs in order also a playlist & when I wanted them played for each section of ceremony. They had everything right on & was beautiful.

I was worried about the music too. I gave my 1 CD with clear instructions written on the front to the WC. and I gave my Ipod to my brother and told him to look after the music. I told him if it can play off the ipod just to do that. I felt better that someone I knew was helping to look after it.
I think they played straight from the ipod for the ceremony. At any rate it was totally fine!!

I had a CD for my ceremony with the songs backed up on my ipod. I wrote out a list of the # of the song and when to play it. I also wrote it on the CD itself with a sharpie. Everything went beautifully and was played when I wanted it.

We had our reception at Tucanes- which was amazing! -but as we walked back to our room, after everything was over- we walked past a reception at the Health Bar-- and it was so so beautiful-- so you won't be disappointed!

We had a CD with 5 songs on it- 2 for while guests were sitting, one for the groom to walk into, one for me to walk into, and one at the end as we kissed and walked back down aisle.

They actually played one of the songs that played while guests were being seated, while we did our finger stamps, and the witnesses were signing the certificate-which I hadn't asked (or known to ask!) -but that actually turned out perfect!

They did great with the music- I was worried about that too. Also, they just played straight from the iPOD at the reception- it worked out really well-- you have no worries! :)
