Wow have been off for a few days & so much to catch up on!! 4 Sleeps & we will be at Gatwick!!!! Am so excited but have been having dramas....more about that in a mo, first a catch up!!

 

Char....OMG  really sorry but was chuckling reading your story & 'too battered for official people'.....hahahahaha!!!! Glad you ended up getting it sorted though....stay off that pole!!

 

Herbie....Yes same as the others, your jewellery is beautiful & your H2B looks very dashing!!

 

Amurka....What a drama you have had, well done for sorting it all out though without costing your party any extra....glad its all sorted for you now honey!!

Well girls am really excited about going but we seem to have had bad news after bad news.....firstly Thursday morning Richards Best Man called & told us his dad had died!!  56 years old heart attack!!....He is still going to come to Mexico as funeral will be after but Richard has known him since they were 6 years old so very upset.  Then same afternoon Richards Dad turns up unexpectadly to tell us that Richards aunt has passed away!!  She has been battling cancer for 8 months so we knew it wouldn't be long but two in the same day....Richard was in bits!!  Then last night he was on the way to work in the car guy pulls out in front  Richard smacks straight into him, our brand new 6 month old car is a right off!!!! Been on the phone sorting out insurance courtesy car etc all day!!  Just can't wait to go now.  Just really feel for Richard, this is supposed to be a really happy time in our lives & we should be both getting all excited & he is trying to be happy but I can see he is really sad.  Sorry to be putting a downer on here girls

Sorry to hear your having such a bad time. But they say bad things happen in threes. You have definately had your three so now you can concentrate on a special family time in Mexico. Hope all is ok x

OMG you poor thing!! How horrible having all that happen just days before Mexico. They say it happens in 3's so hoping you have no more upset before you leave. big hugs xx

 

I collected my dress yest and the box is bursting at the seems, it also weighs twice the weight so 10kg.... just hoping they dont weigh it cos if it goes in the hold not only do i HATE flying but that will worry the life out of me too... we leave in 2 days and i can't sleep... i feel sick. I have NO time to do anything i feel so up in the air. I've had all these months of planning and now its the last bit it all really happens so fast. Everything at the same time....

 

On a good note. Lyndsey is back. I had a look on her FB pix and her wedding looked amazing. Absolutely beautiful. So congrats MRS and can't wait to read all about your wedding. (may be when i'm home now though).. x

Big hugs to you both x Michelle woop woop 2 days omg, if I'm not on here before have a fab time, don't worry about your dress all will be fine x Well hen night no 2 is organised, I'm going to a local Indian where they have buffet, karaoke and disco, we are carrying on the 80's theme from hen weekend I haven't got final numbers in yet but so far up to 35 so should be great night!!! I'm taking all the boys/men to get measured for their waistcoats today, I'm getting so excited now only 9 weeks till we leave :-) FI came home last night and said I've decided on our first dance song Savage Garden 'I knew I loved you' he said it's perfect as we knew each other since 5yrs old. I was gobsmacked first thing he has sorted for the wedding. Michelle what lyndseys name on Facebook? I can't believe she's back already that went so quick.

Looks like you girls leaving in the next couple of days will have just escaped the Icelandic volcano which has erupted again they reckon it wont affect internation flights at present but wont be able to confirm for 24 hours.

 

Michelle I know the feeling about running around like a headless chicken - you will be fine with the luggage going out it will just be coming back that they are really strict.

 

Cant believe one by one we are all becoming married women!!!!

Panic over we weighed the dress wrong. FI was looking a lb's not kg's. So it is exactly 5kg. Phhheeeww!!!

 

Lets hope so Josie they are saying this volcano is more powerful than last yr's and rose to double the height within 7 hours. Finger's x'd we're ok to go tuesday! I dont mind being stuck out there but just wanna make sure we DO get there!!!

hey girls I'm back!! we had the most amazing time i'm sad to be back but we go to a log cabin just outside of york tomorrow for 4 nights then its our AHR on saturday so good times ahead!!

 

mexico is an amazing place & our hotel was fab - champagne was included in the all inclusive - yay!!

 

the wedding day was perfect from start to finish, we couldnt have wished for anymore.

 

i'll add a few pics but if anyone wants to see my name on facebook is now lyndsey smith - lol there are probs millions of lyndsey smiths!!

 

michelle i hope i havent missed you - have the time of your lives & enjoy every minute. good luck!!x
