ON THE MACHINE. so i had to spend 10mins in there with the woman.... god i cant stand her!! Just passed the time but it was awkward (we haven't really spoke in over a yr now).. Makes me sick she trys to act like normal. BIT**!!!

I don't really know what it is apart from vibrating plates.....I just see the sign outside that says drop a dress size in 3 weeks &  thought thats a bit of me!!!!...lol  but other than Michelle I don't know anyone who has used them so was just curious if they are any good??  Might do it the month before we go!!

God Amurka our MIL's sound the same. Mine is a horrid woman that has everyone fooled with her 'nicey nicey' approach but jesus if she dont get her own way does she throw a guilt trip. Its her way or the high way and sorry but i dont live to please her or play her rules. I have my own life and family and i am well and truely keeping my distance from her. I cant bear her.. she has never ever even tried to sort out our upset and would never say sorry. She thinks she is right and in the right and thats that. End of. Everyone else is in the wrong. Its been an ongoing battle with FI and I but now i have nothing to do with her we get on great so i'm staying with it like this...

 

It was awkward today. We just passed the time the most we've spoke in 14 months. She dont get much conversation out of me. I'm just getting through Mexico and the wedding and then i'm done. I find it a massive insult she trys to play it down and 'act' like normal. The woman nearly split us up and ruined most of our wedding planning i'll NEVER forgive her!!

 

Flabulos is ok. You need to go on it everyday to see results. I lost an inch off my waist and hips in 4 weeks but not much more since. Its says the 10mins on it is equal to an hours workout. £30 for the month. Give it a go but you do have to keep going on otherwise its not worth doing. I will continue up till the wedding now. They are all over the place so maybe i'll find somewhere else to avoid HER!! but then again she's only just started and i know the girls in the shop so really she should sod off somewhere else. lol

Amurka - thanks for the website link i'll have a look later i do love Etsy.  Having your AHR in your garden sounds like a lovely idea, it will be nice and relaxed and more intimate. x

As you all know i too have the MIL from hell, as well as a BIL from hell.  I knew it wouldn't be too long before the evil cow contacted FI to put in her two cents about my 'disagreement' with BIL.  She called FI today (as I disconnected the skype) and basically said that I was out of order and why am I trying to come between FI and BIL...is she fucking kidding me....well it get's even better, she went on to say what kind of woman am i, is he sure he wants to marry me...wtf!!!  FI said to her that she wasn't here when the disagreement took place and he was and BIL was overreacting and it is BIL decision to not be bestman, he said that Charmaine even apologised to him for something she didn't even do but he still threw it back in her face.  He told her that him and his brother are still speaking fine, he just doesn't want to be bestman and that's it. If she has a problem then she is to speak to BIL because nobody hasn't said to him he can't be bestman he is just being a spoilt brat!!!

 

 

Ooooooooooooh that woman really drives me mad, but i am determined to stay out of it.  I don't want anybody saying that i did this or said that.

I'm trying to find a gift for my bridesmaids, I found this necklace and matching earing set and it also goes with my butterfly theme, i'm quite girly so i like them.

 

Be honest what do you think?  Does it look cheap and tacky for adult bridesmaids...honest opinions please.

Michelle and Charmaine I am so sorry to hear that your MIL is just like mine (...seriously I wouldn't wish for person like this to be in even my worst enemies life to be honest!!! but hopefully we will go through our big days just great and we will all have loads of people there who love us and care for our wedding to be the most special day ever, I think they will also keep these few unpleasant guests in order as well! )

 

Michelle your place cards are FABULOUS!!!!! where did you get whose beautiful starfish??? they look awesome and add that Caribbean feel as well ) I was thinking to place something like this on my welcome bags )

 

Charmaine hold on there girl, as long as you will ignore crazy things your MIL says and does she will soon realise that she cant mess with your mind and will leave you alone!...sometimes i think our MIL's are testing us just to see how far they can push until we break...

Wow Charmaine i dont envy you have to put up with MIL and BIL (like mother like son ah?) they are spiteful and good on you for not rising to it! What do they think they are going to gain from it?? Weirdos! Its so nasty to do this to ppl when they are planning their wedding!! It really pi**es me off... I am the same now I stay right out of it. It only took her to call me a trouble maker once and that was me gone, she wont get the chance again. When she says i'm a trouble maker what she means is i say NO to her and she dont like it therefore i cause HER trouble then she makes out to everyone i'm the nasty one. Oh hay hoe i'm glad my mum is the best and not like her lol.

They are very similar to Etsy (I love Etsy lol ), but all sellers are based in the UK and they do some very nice things for weddings ) I have found few gifts I might get for my wedding party already (loved personalised candles which are great for thank you gift) )

 

About AHR, me and my FI at first didn't want to have anything done in the UK after we come back from DR!...but as you all might know, family insisted for us to have AHR cos many of them can't make it and also we decided to do church blessing the same day...we didn't plan anything for sure just yet, but thinking as we have a relatively big garden we would rent a marquee and order some food, hoping maybe this will bring the cost down a little bit cos we won't be renting anything... and as always i think if you have loads of booz and music everyone will have a great time!!!

Have you thought about looking at social clubs nr you for your AHR? I was worried about cost but these type of places generally do it cheap coz they make loads of the drinks? Might be worth phoning a few places and see as i heard marquee's can be expensive? Just a thought? xox

Honestly, I the necklace but im not keen on the earrings (sorry) I think maybe little stud butterflys would be better, but thats just my opinion....(sorry again, you did say be honest) xox
