hello everyone hope everyones well! not wedding related.. my birthday today got some lovely flowers of my babba, money of FI.. an my mum dad have paid for me&baby to go to tenrife next wk for 4 days just us an my mum.. cannot wait a few days in the sun!

 

my FI has finally decided he wants to wear a light weight suit/ maybe without the jacket.. im just glad ive finally got a decision! if any1 else FI is wearing a suit what colour r they wearing..my dress is white, so should he wear white with turqouise cravat? or light beige suit. x

Well that all depends on how much you go to the swimming baths... Haha!!! Will make a big change from Spain no doubt!!!

Hmmmm, the last time i went swimming in this country was..... Erm.... well it was that long ago that i dont actually know, prob as a kid... haha...

WOW that will be lovely to get away for a few days.... SUN is definatly need after the awful weather we have had which seems like forever.... x

 

FI is wearing a white shirt with tin (beige) colour shorts and an aqua tie, He has tried this on and i think it looks lovely, I think either would look great.... x

Okay so as most of you know we have been debating for months and months about having an AHR, we finally as we speak i am starting to organise getting one sorted.

As we are very very very strapped for cash as all our savings have gone on Mexcio!! (same for most no doubt) anyway, i have been speaking to people lately as i didnt want to book somewhere and not have many turn up, also my famly live like 270 ish miles away and i have a HUGE family and i didnt know if most would travel, my dad has informed me today that he has spoken to people and they would, whic is a relief.... I spoke to another friend who has informed me that the football club in my town hire's out their function room for free!!! Getting on the phone first thing...this same friend also does cakes so she will do ours for us, my other friend well he hubby is a DJ, so i sent her a message before about maybe having him DJ for us. I think i would prob do my own food, just a buffet or something!!! I think we can do this on the cheap.... but still quite classy!!! The room its self isnt a big swish hotel as you prob gather with it being a footy club but for me thats not an issue i just want to celebrate our marrage with all our family and friends... and with it being at the local footy club  massive bonus is that the drinks are cheap cheap cheap :-)

My mums neighbour makes wedding invites etc so im going to ask her if she will do them for me.....

OKAY so those of you having an AHR, what else will i need????? Argh, im getting excited all over again :-)

AND AND AND again some of you will know i HATE my job with a passion and i have applied for 27 jobs in the last 3 months all of which were thanks but not thanks :-(

Well anyway a guy i work with his fiance works at a toyota garage and they are looking for a receptionist/telephonist so i applied... And low and behold i have an interview on Tues 15th!!! strangly i was off work in the afternoon anyway as i had a docs apt (which i have re-arranged) so i have arranged the afternoon off anyway... bonus.... My mums neighbour (the husband of the lady who make invites) is a General Manager or Honda in Southport and i messaged him and he is going to give me tips in an email of what they will be looking for etc....

 

Im just hoping now that 2011 really is my year... im not holding my breath though as im crap in interviews and i just know i'll prob blow it!!! but i need out of my current job so badly that im scared to death of this interview as i have never wanted something so much!!!

anyway watch this space and i'll let you know on Tues how i think it went and let you now the out come.......

Hi, Happy Birthday - hope you have gad a FAB day! My Fi is weaving an ivory suit suit as my dress is ivory - although I defiantly think you could get away with either colour you have suggested xx

Something we are thinking of doing is having a slide show of photos playing in the background from our actual wedding so people who were';t there can see it all - I think doing the buffet yourselves is a good idea - this is what we will probably do - not as if I will have much to do in the day as will already be married - LOL x

Yeah, Stephens Cousin sis the same thing last year, i like the idea, may think about this Yeah, i thought that bout the sat day too... give me time to sort it out!! Haha, i have a few friends who said they would help which is good x

thanks everyone..

nicky we are having our AHR at a labour club we think its also free to hire, ive nt seen the room, but my auntie said it recently got done up an would nd 180ppl to make it near full..the buffet i can get for around 400pound which isnt bad, the clubs buffet would be 500 with nt  much on it so gettin some1 else to do it.. we have 2 friends who are djs so will hopefully get them to do it on the cheap! my friend does ballons so hopefully get a good deal..im nt to worried its not a posh hotel its a party!!
